Vibrant Forest Brewery is pleased to annouce that a selection of bottle conditioned ales shall shortly be available in selected local outlets. Flying Saucer, Stormbrew and Dark Castle Porter have been bottled as well as an Imperial Russian Stout called Black Oktober.
Black Oktober is a very special full bodied strong stout with a coffee froth style head which leads to a rich aroma of bitter chocolate and liquorice. The taste is bitter, alcoholic and warming with a dry roasted-grain finish. ABV 7.2%

Wheatwave has just been judged runner-up in the Hampshire beer of the year 2011 awards at Octoberfest in Basingstoke! This big event features beers from all of Hampshire's 19 breweries and there were some truly excellent beers availlable this year. A really big thanks to everybody who voted for Wheatwave.

The Guide Dog in Southampton and The Rock in Canada, near West Wellow have recently placed beer orders. Both outlets have both requested a new (one-off?) brew called Flying Saucer.12 September 2011

Summerlands, Ginga Ninja and Wheatwave shall be available at the Cuckoo Inn beer festival from 8 September until 11 September 2011. The fantastic Cuckoo Inn is located in Hamptworth, near Landford on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border.23 August 2011
