Crosswinds was brewed with 7 different malts which were combined to create a biscuity, chocolatey, smoky porter. We fermented it low and slow on our house lager yeast to keep things nice and smooth, before tucking a small portion away for maturation in bourbon barrels. This has added oaky, spicy vanilla flavours as well as augmenting the smoky finish.
